Thrillist AtlantaHybrids are everywhere, from golf clubs that combine a wood with an iron, to Priuses, to minotaurs, who're about the size of a Prius, only much better looking. For a laid-back supper house that also plays as a neighborhood bar/coffee & dessert cafe, check out 52 Bistro.
Taking over the bi-level former digs of Slice Cafe, 52's a cozy bistro-n-bar mashup with a wood-decked top floor featuring stained glass windows and a wood-beamed, church-steepled ceiling, a dimly lit downstairs with private rooms and a copper-layered bar, plus an out-front gazebo and fish pond, run by the owners of Milton, GA's Irish pub Olde Blind Dog, who unfortunately can't see just how hilariously they spelled the name of his bar. Starters include pork sliders w/ spicy corn slaw & apple BBQ drizzle, and seared Ahi tuna skewers on a noodle bed w/ roasted eggplant & sesame soy wasabi; there're also flatbreads like beef tenderloin (w/ wild 'shrooms, balsamic onions, blue cheese sauce) and seafood risotto fritters: chili-glazed blue crab, scallops & rock shrimp, whose supremacy has been virtually unchallenged since the Chappelle shrimp went crazy and disappeared. You can sammy up with a Black Angus patty melt on sourdough or a grilled Scottish salmon BLT, plus they're dishing entrees like dijon herb lamb chops (w/ spring pea/sweet onion risotto & mint Dijon sauce), yellowtail snapper w/ veggie orzo, and beef tenderloin medallions w/ pureed Yukon Gold potatoes & Marsala wine demi, also Moore's nickname on her bachelorette party in an Italian kitchen.
For drankin', it's 17 bottled brews (Dogfish 90 Minute Terrapin Rye, Innis & Gunn...), Allagash White and Smutty Nose IPA on draft, plus 20 wines by the glass or bottle including South Africa's Glen Carlou Chardonnay, and Clos La Chance Meritage -- though it's a certainty that a couple glasses will ensure everyone's much better looking.
