Drinking: Thrillist Presents: Cain Southampton
Tonight is Cain Southampton's monster summer preview party, and because they're apparently more interested in collecting disaster insurance than staying in business, they've asked us to host it. Promise the doorman you'll buy eight bottles for you and your bra model friends, and you can join us inside -- but don't take it too hard if he shafts you, because we'll probably get negged too.

Drinking: Water Taxi Beach
If you can't handle the Long Island club scene, hit Long Island City: Water Taxi Beach opens for the season today at noon. WTB's got sand, volleyball, picnic tables, cheap burgers and dogs, and $2 Pabst tall boys -- a.k.a. the "I'll Just Swim Back!" special. Unlike Cain, there's no door policy, but there is a chain link fence policy.

Drinking: Ava Penthouse
Also reopening this weekend: Ava's rooftop, whose butt-clenching views of Times Square are only marred by the Times Square crowd. Regardless, this is one of the best spots in the city for vertigo-enhanced drinking -- so get there before the undesirables realize it's up and running, then pelt them with potentially deadly quarters once they wise up and approach the hotel.
The Rest: Men's Waxing at Shobha
To meet a disturbing demand for male Brazilian waxes, Shobha has expanded their men's service to both their locations. Mention Thrillist for a free exfoliating hand towel, apparently a $10 value. Hooray for summer?
