Food: Il Buco Pig Fest
While they're foregoing certain less savory Autumnal Equinox traditions (human sacrifice, pan flutes), il Buco will be slow roasting a 170lb North Carolina pig, to be chased down w/ wine and prosecco. The whole thing happens in front of the restaurant -- so if your dream's to eat pork in the middle of the street without being arrested, this is your day.
Drinks: Good Magazine Launch Party
Good, which "embraces this generation's merger of capitalism and idealism", seems intent on defying the laws of the former: the cover for 6hrs of open bar's a measly $20, which also gets you a mag subscription. Even that cash goes straight to your choice of one of 12 charity partners -- one more charity than usually benefits when you fleece naïve do-Gooders.

Food: Chef Party at Crobar
At the closing party of the Starchefs International Chefs Conference, New York's brightest young culinary stars will sling their deliciousness from roving pushcarts. The ticket's pricey but worth it, for the open bar, the food, and the chance to see chefs from Mas, Le Bernardin, and Falai treated like shiftless streetmeat vendors.

Sports: Bar Games
AT's hosting a 4hr non-athlete's Olympiad, with flip cup, four square, and rock-paper-scissors. To participate, you'll need a group of six, two of whom must be women -- and all of whom must take great pride in completely useless skills.

Culture: BloodMentos
Turn up your speakers, because this is the "Jean Claude Van Damme" of freshmakers.
