The List

Hump This

Food: Kingsford Charcoal Grill-Fest
7am-7pm Mon Mar 12, in Madison Square Park
On Monday, world champion barbecuers will offer grilling demos and free meat to anyone who wanders into the semi-green confines of MSP. The event runs thru breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- if you feel awkward receiving three handout meals, try disguising your face with a rib-stache.

Services: Parking Market
ParkWhiz.com
This still-in-beta service aims to create a market for underutilized driveways, garage spaces, etc. Use it, and you can rent someone else's spot, or rent out your own -- though PW can't promise quality tenants, so don't be surprised if you return to find a toothless family roasting a dog outside their wheel-less camper.

Food: Natsumi
Opens Mon at 226 W 50th St, between 8th and Broadway; 212.258.2988
NYC's two dominant food forces come together in this Italian-Japanese fusion spot, with Liger-esque hybrids like seared salmon/buffalo mozzarella pizza and the Doppio Toro roll (tuna, yellowtail, crabstick, asparagus, and pesto). Sadly missing the cut: the meatballs-inside-beans creation "Edameatballs".

Drinks: Free McDonald's Coffee
Tomorrow only, all day long at all Tri-State metro area locations
To celebrate their fluke trouncing of Starbucks in a recent Consumer Reports poll, McD's is giving away cups of free mud. Use this link to find your coffee. You're on your own finding a clean restroom to deposit it in.

Gear: Sale at B8 Couture
Thru Mar at 27 Little W 12th St, near Greenwich; 212.924.8700
Up to 30% off suits, coats, and pullovers by Roman Kapadia, Custo Barcelona, Heike Jarick, and other designers whose gear would make you look more Euro, if it weren't for your Jersey-sized ass.

Culture: Online Suckage Meter
Sucks-Rocks.com
This site aggregates positive and negative internet comments about the subject of your choosing, then rates its suckness/rockness on a 1-10 scale (1 sucking most). On a test run, Madonna rated 7.4, while "herpes" came in at 2.5, giving Madonna an impressive total rating of 9.9.
