Brick and Mortar

8713 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood; 323.662.6605

Though bigger's frequently better, legions of tiny-penised men will shrilly remind you that it's what you do with it that counts. Combining high-quality shopping with generous proportion, stop by the just-opened Brick and Mortar.

The Arnold to B&M's other DeVito-tiny shop, this fresh, giganticked instance was launched by a former Wasteland and Costume National staffer intent on providing LA with a repository of unique/imported men's goods to compliment their unique/imported haircuts. Much of their stock hails from far-away-lands like England and Japan, and includes standbys like designer Jeans and T's, plus the more esoteric: jewelry, skincare, luggage, and...free-standing fireplaces. The store also has its own exclusive line, and rotates in two new items every season, the latest being slim-fitted V-necks and Member's Only-ish jackets -- framing your Eric Estradian chest thicket with outerwear that'd make Bobby Brown cry...even harder than he is already.

Bolstering the emphasis on design, B&M also slings mid-1900s cubist and modern art from San Fran's Lost Art Salon -- proving that bigger doesn't always mean more useful, to the immense relief of underdeveloped men everywhere.
