Eat: Flight Bistro and Social Lounge
This sophisticated airplane-hangar of a restaurant abets its standard menu with flights of wine and cheese and, more unusually, sets of Paninis (Ham + Swiss, Tomato + Blue Cheese, Mushroom + Greuyere) and meats (Chorizo, Sopressata, Jamon Serrano, a.k.a., the "Pig's Flight").

Wear: Le Magnifique
Founded by a Frenchman, this Venice company's soft cotton tees and v-necks feature dance- music-inspired, semi-puerile designs, e.g.: half-naked, pixilated ladies, women in silhouette, and lovelies wearing racing helmets -- so even if your girlfriend objects to the subject matter, she'll appreciate your emphasis on safety.

Drink: Anti-Costume Halloween Party
If no one's buying your "Serial Killer You'd Never Suspect" get-up, head to Life, where they'll be giving out free drinks at midnight to costume-less guests (unfortunately, your cover'll be blown when the valet notices your trunk's rattling with skulls).
The party's free, but RSVP at lifeonwilshire@att.net
Service: Live Venue Price Drinking Guide
This oft-updated list covers which-booze-costs-what at scores of LA's live music venues, helping you decide which bands/beers you can afford to see.

Watch: Halloween Costume Warehouse
Because all those seedy shops on Hollywood have to get their costumes somewhere...
