FiLife

Ideally, a man should look within himself to gauge his worth -- but if that were true, why aren't your eyes glued straight ahead at the urinal? Find your spot in the financial pecking order, at FiLife.com.

Thrillist - FiLifeA just-launched, envy-inflaming advice site, FiL compares your fiscal health against the average American's via seven calculators that coldly measure income/debt/assets, without any upward adjustment for literature skimmed/concerts attended/kegs standed. The woe-inducing judgments cover everything from annual paycheck, to credit score, to rent, to home value, illustrating each metric with a pyramid graphic, line graph, or pie chart (so, like Ray Stantz, you can "choose the form of the Destructor"). You can also narrow comparisons to people in a specific age range, city, and zip code, three additional opportunities to cast your linoleum-schlacked basement studio share in a "quaintly aspirational" light.

To see if things are looking up/down for you, save your metrics to a constantly updated profile whose results you can classify as private or public -- though as with units, men of average endowment will likely keep it in their pants.

See how you measure up at FiLife.com
