Stalker fans will do anything to get close to celebs, from sifting through their garbage, to hacking their Blackberry, to shelling out for a plate of mac & cheese that costs more than the finest Port Authority handjob. Helping you increase the net worth of multimillionaires one noodle at a time, the Celebrity Restaurant Map.
From the famous-person-profilers at CityFile.com, CRM's an obsessively starf*ckish GMap that tracks bars/restaurants/lounges with various degrees of celebrity ownership. Simply click on a famous mug to reveal their joints, from hateful vanity projects (Pete Wentz's Angel & Kings), to forgotten vanity projects (Sebastian Junger's Half King), to more esoteric venue/personality combos (Quentin Tarantino = Do Hwa, Timbaland & DJ Clue = Sugar Lounge), to spots whose investors run disturbingly deep (DeNiro's Tribeca Grill also sucks funds from Lou Diamond Phillips, whose quiet hospitality industry profile is rivaled only by his quiet acting profile). Each listing includes brief, often surprising notations, e.g., Bowery Wine Company's Bruce Willis ("he simply let co-owner Chris Sileo use his name in the promotional materials"), and P.J. Clarke's Timothy Hutton, who bought into the place a few years ago, and was apparently once married to Debra Winger (but'd close his eyes and imagine Kip).
CRM's Manhattan-only for now, but CityFile plans to extend coverage to the other four boroughs, and the tri-state area -- so when you descend from your bus disheveled and satisfied, you'll know exactly where to find Bon Jovi.
