Drink: Little Jonathan Winery

The grape-crushing rapper's orderable-online 2006 Central Coast Chardonnay just somehow won a Silver Medal at the 2009 L.A. Bite: Max's Coal Oven Pizzeria

300 Marietta St NW, Downtown; 404.974.2941

Featuring brick walls, antique French factory lamps, B&W photos of NY, and claiming the only genuine coal-burning oven in GA, Max's serves 1,000-degree-charred NY-style pies and slices, from build-your-owns to the Bianca (ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, confit garlic, & fresh basil), all boasting housemade cheese and the NY-bred chef's family recipe sauce. There's also pasta, sandwiches, coal-oven-baked Lemon Pepper Parmesan Wings, and housemade gelato, plus a full booze selection, six reds and six whites, and taps like Sweetwater, Peroni, Terrapin, and Numbers Ale, which sadly is no excuse for accountants to get boozed up at lunch.
