Founded by a SCAD grad, ATL-based Chirbit just launched its online audio sharing service, featuring a Twitter-like structure (message board, RSS feeds, follow others) that lets you record, then post or send 2min clips taped with your webcam or external mic, or up to 120MB mp3/wav files from programs like Audacity, Garage Band, or LAME; upon creation, you can tag your sounds in searchable categories that compile all members' recordings, including Confession, Toast, Joke, and Apology, which you'll be forced to upload to after initially submitting to a music category.
