Octane at Emory

Octane's expanded to Emory-town, featuring a covered front patio dotted with 15 black tables and ceiling-hung speakers, and a cozy interior with an 8-seat communal table, a 10-seat banquette, and a fresh-fonted version of the large brown/white "Espresso, Cappuccino, Caffe..." sign at Octane 1. They're brewing joe manually using Chemex glass vessels, and stocking new desserts like Cookie Sandwiches (carrot w/ cream cheese or ganache-filled chocolate), or the Espresso Pot de Creme, which sounds like it's from an entirely different kind of coffee shop.
