Equal parts design-nerdery and historical recreation, MotRoT is the pet-project turned full-time gig of a 7th-gen Texan who creates ornate hand-drawn sepia wall posters like Republic of TX (original TX geography including 87 battle sites and 47 frontier forts), Flags of Texas (16 total), and the recently released Texas Ranger Badges, celebrating the iconic imagery of the simple-starred 1889 medallion and the following 6 iterations, but not the greatest Ranger iteration, which ran from 1993-2001 and once told Haley Joel Osment he had AIDS!
