The suds-filled, generally glorious time of year known as Atlanta Beer Week is back, meaning starting tomorrow you'll have literally barrels of imbibing options including rare cask tappings, meal pairings, brewery tap takeovers, free growlers, and crawls, in addition to events where you go from one bar to the next. To guide you along your journey we got Taco Mac beer buyer/ Beer Street Journal founder Reid Ramsay to give us a few can't-miss options.

The Fred: Double-R says don't miss when locally based O'Dempsey's brings a cask of cocoa nibs- & cranberry-flavored Russian Imperial Stout to the craft beer speakeasy, or the Chi-Town event on the 27th, where you'll get down on Finch's and Goose Island while eating Chicago-style hot dogs, one of the finest things a man can Rahm down his throat.

SweetWater: "They go all out," Reid says about SW, and they're proving it by sponsoring a gang of events, starting with a pig roast and cask IPA tomorrow at Hand In Hand. Then, hit Mellow Mushroom Brookhaven during the UGA/FL game as their 15th Anniversary Ale's cracked, and Ormsby's on Wed when they tap a special Twain's collaboration of 8.5% "Dirty DIPA", which was also a Michael Jackson song on the same album as She's Stout of My Life and The Girl is Barleywine.

Cypress St: In addition to over a dozen highly respectable kegs like a 2011 Coney Island Blockhead dopplebock, Reid's seriously crunk that they're pouring rare ones including a world-exclusive: a one-time-only, Knob Creek Bourbon barrel-aged firkin of Blaecorn Unidragon stout from Clown Shoes, which are also a fashion statement you can't miss.
