The Foundry

From the duo behind Bolsa and the Belmont, this concrete-floored, brick-lined testament to industrial simplicity's garage-laden front fascia opens up to a gravel-paved, picnic table-covered garden anchored by a stage made outta 500 pallets. Food will eventually be provided by the soon-to-open Chicken Scratch, while purposefully simple 'tails augment a 45-strong beer lineup that runs from St. Arnold's Elissa, to Harpoon UFO, to Anchor Steam, to Red Oak, to Deep Ellum Brewing Company's Darkest Hour -- buy just one, and DEBC will surpass the box office earnings of Emile Hirsch's The Darkest Hour. You know, the movie with the electricity or something?
