The brainchild/namesake of a Dallas man who spent the last 15yrs in NC, this "cocktail bar that doesn't take itself seriously" is dominated by a 30ft bar opposite photos of circuses and, of course, a mounted zebra head. Following the formula of its vaunted Winston-Salem forbear, there are no mixologists, only serious 'tenders slinging classics like 1890's Aviation, signatures including the Eternal Flame (strawberry-/jalapeno-infused teq, Citronge, ginger beer), and craft beers such as The Dark Truth, Tank 7, and Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter, a Hunter S. Thompson tribute, so expect the porter to be a midget, a lizard, or both.
