Frederick's Little Brewery That Could... serve you great beer

Hop on I-25 and, about halfway between Mile High and Fort Collins, turn off into the bucolic town of Frederick. Breathe in the farms dotting the landscape as you rumble past the old reservoir, and follow the street running parallel to the Fireside Trail. When you see the church, take a right and ease up to the low-slung, nondescript beige building. Now hand your keys to someone else, because you've arrived at Echo Brewing, and it's time to f'ing party.

Upon entering the sparse, maple-swathed taproom, you'll be greeted by the identical twin owners, Daniel (the business man) and Dennis (head brewer, and the sensitive one), who've found the time to open the brand-new seven-barrel brewhouse in between having wacky, sitcom-y misadventures where they cover for each other on dates. Grab a stool at the bar (make sure to aggressively yell "fives" when peeing, as there're only eight of them), which looks out on the church and the obligatory small-town water tower, and order up their summery German Blonde "Kirby's Kolsch", the hoppy "Ice Mountain IPA" with citrus/ pine notes (Dennis's favorite!), or a not-that-bitter English pale ale called the "Echo ESB" (Daniel prefers this one!), which, like the brewery, is named after the twins' tendency to say things at the same time, because, in case you haven't gotten it yet, they're adorable.

And if you're tired from the journey/ unbearable quaintness, you can also kick up your feet in the adjoining, couch-filled lounge, where they encourage you to bring your own homecookin' or order delivery, which they've even facilitated with a stock of local menus, just in case you still need some direction.
