Softly opening Saturday in Santa Monica, SHOREbar's a two-level tipple-ry from the h. wood guys that's meant to look like a boozier version of a Nantucket country club, so expect cushy booths, brass accents, nautically themed art, and people wearing pants with boozier lobsters embroidered on them vintage coastal maps.
Downstairs's all open to the public (even people wearing pants with lobsters embroidered on them), w/ drinks from a Copa D'Oro vet poured on an all-white, porch-like bar, including the the Tower 15 (rum, Shrubb, ginger honey, lime, orange & egg white), and the vodka, St Germain, strawberry & Prosecco JoJo -- have too many and it'll likely be significantly harder to get back (get back) get back to where you once belonged. Upstairs's a smaller lounge w/ a separate bar only available to members; locals can become one pretty easily and'll get perks like lockers to store private bottles, game nights, and a space to throw a party the month of your birthday for free, which's especially good news for 50 Cent. And Shorty.
They've got no kitchen, but members will be able to order food from local restaurants, provided they have a lineage dating back to the Mayflower and aren't using any (gross) "New Money". Not really, it's all cool.
