Setting up in the back of Jane's Sweet Buns (!!!), the Death + Co team's Proletariat takes cues from old-school EV tattoo parlors, transporting people from the "bright and poppy" bakery into a "dark and dodgy shotgun-style bar" whose ever-changing menu features beer cocktails on tap, a nine-tier sequence of brew classes "modeled after Dante's descent into the inferno", tinctures for "flash hop infusions", and only rare or unusual brews, like Michigan's Leelanau Whaleback White, and Dugges Ale's Hip Hop Hooray, which'll make you a total Ho.
