Because you seem really trustworthy, Lower Haight's resident English pub's now letting you pour your own beer courtesy of the just-installed TableTender, an eight-stooled table with a built-in two-tap system that pulls from kegs stashed in a cabinet underneath. The amount of beer dispensed is recorded and displayed on a meter at your seat, and when you're done, you settle your tab in cash on a per-ounce basis, making it the first time anything in the Haight has ever been settled like that. Oh, unless you count all the drugs and stuff.
