Braised short ribs & suds in Southie

Soft opening today from the folks behind Newton's Biltmore and neighborhood newcomer American Provisions, this mid-century style 90-seater's located in the former Farragut House (refinished with tin ceilings, wood paneled walls, mod metal chairs, and a working wood-burning brick fireplace) and serves burly sustenance like beer braised short ribs w/ root veggie hash browns and crystallized almonds/syrupy apricots, as well as pan-fried pork chops w/ toasted spaetzle and Brussels sprouts. Drinkwise, they've got 45 draught/bottled suds (Haverhill's "Leatherlips" IPA, Troegs "Nugget Nectar", etc.) and a handful of cocktails that fall into one of three categories, including "standard, rotation, and fuel", the last of which will surely make you feel Diesel.
