Sushi UO (now closed)

A signless speakeasy from a 23 year-old sushi master, UO spiffed up its second floor tenement digs with dark wooden chairs, a wall of shiny black cushions, and a diverse rack of featured sakes; eclectic bites include edamame tartare w/ shiso & citrus, boneless short ribs braised in roast fennel & beer, and crispy rice topped with chipotle tuna, while the daily rotating sushi's grouped under titles like Silver Family (mackerel, sardine...) and White Family, which includes fluke, striped bass, and snapper, but oddly no Seavers.
