Thrillist San FranciscoPoor little Berkeley always gets pigeonholed for being all crunchy and granola, and that's really not fair -- they've also got quinoa flakes, chia seeds, and goji berries! Eat it all; make a MojaMix.
Founded by a couple o' Euro expats, Berkeley's own MojaMix hawks deliciously custom cereal concoctions, composed of any combo you can dream up from their dozens-upon-dozens of nutty/fruity building blocks, which get mixed together then shipped right to your door, which technically belongs to everyone in your commune, but they're pretty chill so no worries. The set up's simple: pick your cereal base from proven standbys (grain/flake/etc) and delicious perversions (e.g., chocolate chomp, coconut crisp...), add some dried fruit (anything from peaches, to figs, to persimmons), and top it all off with nuts ranging from macadamia to deez, which you totally didn't see coming, and even if you did, you know it's still hilarious. If you need some inspiration, check out MojaMix's "popular mixes", which include strawberry-/hazelnut-/raw cacao nib-packed Chocolicious and the Happy Camper, complete with cashews, golden raisins, granola, and, hopefully, bear mace.
Once you've perfected your mix, all that's left to do is give your granola a name, pay up, and your bags'll arrive in a couple of days. Plus, MojaMix stores all your cereal combos on their site, so you won't need to remember the exact recipe that went in to that perfect batch of "Don't Touch My Cereal You Dirty, Dirty Hippie".
