Hakobe (now closed)

Just now open in the former Lodge Steakhouse space (dark, woody, and untouched save the addition of a sushi bar), this cabin-themed restaurant is owned by a runway-model-turned-restaurateur, who's serving up a slew of Japanese goodness: a full selection of raw fish (including live sweet shrimp and abalone) as well as other deliciousness like kobe steak w/ wasabi mashed potatoes, sauteed salmon w/ peach ginger teriyaki sauce, and sweet shrimp ceviche w/ cilantro and citrus essence, because citrus is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty.
