Kenmore's venerable beef slingers've opened a second location in the old Grille Zone, hawking their hand-packed specialty burgers like the Big Papi (chipotle sauce, cheddar, guacamole, sliced jalapenos) and the U-Beckett (BBQ sauce, pepper jack, mushrooms, onions, bacon) in a re-done, 28-seat space featuring an open kitchen, so you can watch "every step of the burger building process", a strategy designed to curb Hamburglary.

Just out this week, HD's got sweet new and revamped styles for Spring, like the triple-stitched leather/suede Max Flip Flop (in black or aloe), five fresh colorways of the leather/suede Shift Hi (lemon, silver, black, creme, white/cherry, etc), and the neoteric Down Shift retro-esque hightop, w/ a terrycloth lining and thin "natural crepe rubber outsole", because sheathing your feet in delicate French comestibles is blazing hot right now.
Those Tevas don't look great w/ socks, so upgrade at HeyDayFootwear.comTell just-launched GB the brew you're craving and your zip, and it'll create a "beer map", by searching through 3,000+ area beer stores, bars, and restaurants and displaying the 20 closest retailers and what they stock it in (12-pack, keg...), saving you the infinite hassle of calling to see if your local suds purveyor still stocks loosies of Bud Light.

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, every Friday (through April) Todd English's C-town joint's offering a retro-menu from the resto's launch (oven-roasted chicken, beef carpaccio with Roquefort polenta, grilled octopus with chickpeas, etc) at embarrassingly cheap ($5-$12) 1989 prices, harking back to a time when Eastern European citizens first tasted the freedom of democracy, and more importantly, you first tasted the sweet release of morphing into the thunder dragon in Altered Beast.
Check out the menu, if you can make it past Mr. English's masturbatory self-loving website.Thursday, 6-8:30 PM at the Fairmont Copley, JFK Suite, Room 641: 138 St. James Ave, at Trinity; Back Bay
Head to the Fairmont Copley tomorrow to enjoy gratis beer, wine, and apps while checking out the first US visit from London-based Lodger Footwear -- designers of upscale men's dress shoes who actually custom-make each pair based on a 3-D laser scan of your feet, pretty much ensuring that no one working at Lodger Footwear would ever date you.
