Acapulco Gold

The biggest problem with today's over-saturated, 24-hour news cycle is that important messages get lost in the static, like North Korea launching missiles and, get this, Michael Jackson is announcing a comeback tour! Helping get your point across, Acapulco Gold.

From a boutique streetwear designer known for its clean cut aesthetic, this new collection is heavy on social commentary and inspiring wit, mixing graphic tees, classic logoed hoodies, and colorful headgear that won't get stuck on your GF's braces. Clever shirts include the Charlie Hustle, a white cotton crewneck that pays homage to the greatest gambler in baseball history w/ three pics of Pete Rose above some of his more classic quotes; the navy Spit Merrill Lynch which deftly displays the word “spit” in spray-paint cursive over the company bull/logo; and a black short-sleeve that dons an image of the ultimate playboy Howard Hughes between the scripted words, “Hate the Player, Hate the Game”, but conveniently omits “Hate Peeing in the Toilet”. For our cool NE nights, AG serves up hoodies and sweats like the Top 1 Percent, a cotton crossgrain fleece crewneck w/ a red tackle twill applique "1" between white block/gothic lettering that reads “Top Percent, For Better For Worse”; a navy full-zip up hoodie w/ front pockets that features the yellow chain-stitch script words “High Post” embroidered atop the phrase, “Always Strong, Never Wrong”; and the mid-fleece pull-over w/ “T.1.P” logo silkscreened on the left front pocket and a screen printed back that reads in yellow/red/white “Loot Plunder or Pillage”, also a reference to the second most popular Viking gameshow.

To top off the collection/your exposed dome, AGs got a fitted, beige desert camo Bespoke Military Camp Cap w/ 100% silk striped undervisor, and a mesh trucker w/ the words “Acapulco A1G7” embroidered across a blue/yellow/pink plaid front called the Fast Times, which're getting even faster now that we just heard the King of Pop broke up with Elvis's daughter! WTF?!
