International Burger Bar

The key to attracting a new audience can be as simple as tweaking your image -- Wendy's courted the healthy set with wraps and designer salads, while Everlast sang the blues in order for Whitey to afford his Taurus payments. Leading their makeover with food, International Burger Bar. Aiming to offer quick eats to time-strapped theatergoers, the owners of Caprice have reopened the club's restaurant (shuttered since 2005) and ditched fancy Frenchness in order to grill up 15 varieties of meaty burgers in a newly renovated first floor space w/ 14 tables (seating 55), a neon-lighted stainless steel bar and rich dark wood/red walls accented w/ candles, mirrors, and giant mesh butterflies (they totally stole your idea!). Greasy 10oz deliciousness starts in the Western Hemisphere w/ The Texan, a juicy classic American bacon burger slathered in BBQ sauce; the spicy buffalo sauce-dripped Tex Mex w/ blue cheese; and a salsa-covered sirloin slab cooked w/ fiery jalapenos, cheddar, sour cream, and guacamole known as the Spicy Mexican, also the star of Telemundo's runaway hit, "Desperate Luchadores". IBB also broils up Euro-inspired meat like the feta cheese crumbled Greek w/ lettuce, tomato, and cucumber doused in Greek dressing; the classically simple Irish piled w/ sliced deep fried potato wedges, and the Italian, a marinara-soaked pizza burger covered w/ provolone and stewed tomato that gestures feverishly when telling stories, and loves living in Revere! If you just want to get your buzz on before Wicked, IBB's got a solid collection of crazy cocktails (blazing grape soda), margaritas, and martinis mixed w/ sour apples, pomegranate, or even peaches and cream -- get caught drinking one, and prepare to move into a social House of Pain.
