C-House

Two things you learned in second grade: huffing markers is bad ass, and two-thirds of Earth is engulfed by water. Eat your way through that 2/3rds at C-House.

From the acclaimed chef behind NYC's Aquavit, C-House is a sleek, 90-seat resto tucked inside the Affinia Hotel, replete with nautical-themed photos that serve as shout-outs to uber-fresh seafood arriving daily from everywhere from Greece to New Jersey (filet of Big Pussy?). Start your filter-feeding at the raw bar, featuring 15 rotating options (stone crab claws, Kumamoto oysters, lightly roasted sea urchin, etc) served a la carte or as "Towers": available in up to 3 heaping tiers, they're like pupu platters you can order without tittering. Main events include chili-crusted fluke, Wagyu dry-aged ribeye, and a lobster club on housemade bread that's been studded with bacon chunks and baked with pork fat -- because why should bread only kill the gluten-intolerant?

To wash down your catch, there's an 1,825-bottle wine rack and 10 specialty cocktails (e.g., "Back Of The House", w/ Makers, triple sec, vanilla maple syrup). In early July, the same booze'll be available at C-View, a swank-yet-cozy lounge & outdoor patio on the 29th floor -- as high as you've been since you discovered the disorienting powers of "Light Blue".
