A picture might be worth a thousand words, but it's nonetheless very difficult to dance to. Send an e-card with a groovy bass-line, via Postcard.fm.
From the four Northwestern guys behind the fantasy A&R site The Next Big Sound, Postcard's a stupid-simple service that lets you send e-greetings complete with an embedded photo and MP3, the difference between telling someone you love them, and telling them you "The Power of Love" them. First, upload a pic, or, if you don't happen to have a picture of a dog licking the candy crotch of a guy in a gingerbread man costume, paste in a URL. For tunes, upload a song from your own eclectic library, or mooch from a larger, even more eclectic library powered by SeeqPod -- who stand brave in the face of copyright litigation so you can get a friend to play "Pass the Dutchie" on his work computer.
If you still haven't gotten your message across, you can add a personal note beneath the music player -- if they don't get the point after that, so sorry, you're too late, because your friend is already dead.
