2010: Living in the Future

A Chi journalism professor who purchased a 1972 book entitled 2010 as a boy and managed to hang onto it all this time is posting a blow-by-blow account of the book's hilariously illustrated predictions as to what our world should look like, including some prescient forecasting (the book predicts, fairly accurately, the online grocer Peapod's concept), and some that missed the mark, as the world tragically is not yet ready for robot arms flinging its morning toast... Or is it?
