DCSCC is a cap-driven fantasy contest kicking off next week where players get to test their armchair mettle against each other, and Ditka himself (it starts in week six, because given a full season, Ditka would crush everyone). Register now for a measly $10, and you're given $1,000 in funny money to use on variously-priced players (Tony Romo's $104, Tony Scheffler's $77), regardless of whether they've been taken by other contestants, so long as they slot into Ditka's self-biased positional allotments (2 QBs, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 2 Flex, 1 K, 1 DST...and 2 TEs). You'll also have unlimited add/drop power from week to week, keeping your ride on the Rashard Mendenhall train at one stop; player pricing will fluctuate during the season based on performance, giving you more chances to shrewdly snatch up sleepers, only to be heartbroken when you can no longer afford the ex-sleepers you've already found.
At season's end, DCSCC will dole out prizes for the top five finishers, with the grand prize winner pocketing $3,500, dinner for two at Ditka's, and a meet-and-greet with Iron Mike -- show up in a wedding dress smoking the reefer, and maybe he'll have the god-like foresight to draft you for real.
