Thrillist ChicagoBeing denied something typically just makes you want it that much more, which is no surprise to anyone who's tasted the succulent decadence of manatee stew. Or food truck grub, like that of Flirty Cupcakes.
Having successfully navigated the stupid-restrictive permitting process that's kept Chicago from fully enjoying gustatory truck treats, the husband & wife team behind Flirty have tricked their van into a roving dynamo of sugary goodness, though sadly you'll be left having to molest yourself. Avail full-size or as a package of four minis, cup flavors include the cream-cheese & red velvet Devil in Disguise, the Coconut...Nuts! (vanilla-coconut cake w/ toasted coconut frosting), and the chocolate w/ Nutella ganache CBFF, aka Chocolate Best Friend Forever, so don't treat it like no Ho-Ho. There's also the chocolate chip/cream cheese filled McDreamy, the PB&C (chocolate w/ peanut butter ganache), and a banana-chocolate cupcake with salted caramel buttercream called the Curious George (though be careful when telling everyone your plan to go "buy Curious").
Also, expect rotating weekly specials like Mother's Day's cream-filled vanilla cake with white chocolate/blackberry frosting -- eat enough and there's no denying everyone will look at you and see cow.
They're gonna get rolling this weekend, so follow them on Twitter to find out where they're hanging
