The new incarnation of neighborhood fave The Black Beetle has shortened the name, spruced up their black chandelier-inspired decor, and conceived a new menu featuring pan pizzas (wild shrooms with fontina and goat cheese, chicken pesto with roasted tomato) and signature Angus burgers like the bacon/aged cheddar/fried egg Trucker and the bacon/peanut butter/fried plantain Elvis, enough of which will cause a little less conversation, and a whole lot less action.
