While the much-anticipated full-blown Baconfest has been postponed until the spring, they've just made tickets available for a star-studded October bacon cookoff that pits chefs from 10 elite Chi restaurants (David Burke's Primehouse, The Bristol, onesixty blue) in a heated battle at The Publican for beer-paired bacon supremacy, with attendees being afforded the chance to sample each dish, wash it down with the appropriate sud, and walk away with a bacon gift bag (and you didn't think they could make a bacon mouse pad).
