Rootstock Wine & Beer Bar

Opening today from a group of Webster's Wine Bar vets aiming to achieve simultaneous vino and brew notoriety, RS's a cozy 50-seat nook decked out with locally painted artwork and mismatched, second-hand furniture. They'll offer up a heavily local, seasonal menu (charcuterie, artisanal cheeses), an ever-evolving 50 bottle list of global, sustainable wines, and a carefully curated 18-bottle beer selection made up mostly of Belgian and American craft (Malheur, Great Lakes Grassroots Ale, Coney Island Albino Python, etc), plus low-falutin options like Hamm's and High Life, obviously a clever ploy to finally gain the approval of their sassy, fat-assed delivery guy.
