With recent news that Woodridge-based Pabst Brewing Co. (whose portfolio of more than 25 suds includes PBR, Schlitz, and Old Milwaukee) is up for sale, an enterprising group is trying to crowdsource its way to the estimated $300 million price tag, allowing folks to go as low as five bones for a piece of the ownership action, even if they're just doing it ironically.
