Little Bucharest Bistro

Opened by the owner of the Continental Cafe in the same spot, LBB is the rebirth of his former restaurant, complete with the Romanian-made stained glass boxes that graced the old resto framing an onyx waterfall along the brick walls, but with a decidedly modern update on the original Romanian comfort fare. Highlights include shared plates like braised short rib goulash with truffled gnocchi and poached cherries, and cumin-crusted beef carpaccio with horseradish cream and onion rings, along with entrees such as a bacon-crusted pan seared whitefish with paprika butter sauce and sausage stuffed chicken thigh w/ olive oil poached tomatoes, recklessly stolen from their homes before they can lose their extra virginity.
