Adding a touch of flair can have a profound influence -- if that wasn't true then why is each member of TGIFriday's waitstaff encouraged to make out quarterly with Ric Flair? Flairing up your wardrobe, Projek Raw.

The Spring/Summer line from the Quebecoise purveyors of sleek, subtle prep-meets-streetwear is dotted with various flashes, turns, and tweaks that take traditional forms and patterns and set them apart from the crowd, where you're often found standing in denial that it was you who farted. Classic shortsleeve cotton wovens (avail in assorted traditional plaids, black/white pinstripes, and solids) are spiced up with subtle sciencey steez that combines screen printing and stitching to sketch out chemistry class throwbacks like atomic structures and neutrons, also the name of a robot race bent on killing your dog's sex drive. The motif repeats itself on cargo shorts (avail in cement, charcoal, white), while other bottom-half standouts include twin front-pocketed plaid cargo-bermuda hybrids and gray pinstripe linen trousers with a black drawstring around the waist and back pockets (one zippered, one buttoned) that're mismatched, like the Ladybugs were, before Jonathan Brandis's mom found out he was Martha, and ruined the movie.

Because sometimes you'd prefer to dress down, they've also got a line of tees set off by contrast stitching around the sleeves and haphazard collages of abstract figures, geometric designs, and profound statements like "The only way to know the future is to create it", exactly the kind of pop philosophizing that could dupe unsuspecting Friday's servers into making out with yooooooooouuuu!
