Chinaski's Bar (now closed)

An ode to Charles Bukowski's semi-autobiographical character Henry Chinaski, this cozy dive in the former Whiskey Road space is still doing all-you-can-eat deep-fried bacon Mondays and $5 upscale drafts (Kalamazoo, Rogue's Deadman Ale, etc) everyday. But now they're also offering an eight-strong sandwich menu (appropriately including Ham on Rye), literary open mic Wednesdays, and a nine-hole mini-golf course out back that should be operational in a month or so -- hopefully before all the pork and suds turn you into Charles Bukowksi.
