Rollout Wallpaper

Ideally, your apartment decor suggests a carefully cultivated, refined-yet-well-hung personality. The naked walls it came with, however, suggest "Wait 'til I hang up my Iron Maiden posters!" Steez up your walls, with Rollout.

Operating under the laudable motto "more is definitely more", Roll's a creative studio specializing in custom wallpapers that use texture and color to fill the "gaping hole left by modernism" (also the most high-concept Playboy cartoon caption ever). First, describe your concept, i.e., "The Beatles go to Bollywood on an Acid Trip", which Roll will turn into three spec designs; once finished, your art is digitally printed on premium latex-based paper with non-toxic inks, meaning that Bollywood acid trip will require your own tiny squares of paper. To inspire your vision, the site archives examples of previous works, including folksy-surreal images of three-headed swans and sheep riding wolves, and an x-rayish skull pattern that mashes together "punk rock, granny, and brothel themes"...the Chrissie Hynde?

If you're particularly creative, provide Roll with your own high-res design for printing. If you're not remotely creative, you can also select from around 15 rotating "stock" papers designed by contributing artists -- because you'll only be mistaken for well hung when your walls dangle someone else's steez.
