Los Cabos Mexican Grill and Cantina (now closed)

Invading Dallas from the north, this new OK-based cantina brings opulent fountains and other resort-like trappings, live mariachi bands every Fri-Sat, and a menu spanning coastal Mex (tilapia topped w/ wine-sauced scallops/shrimp/crab), Tex-Mex (fajitas, copious enchiladas, spicy beef tamales), and over-the-top mashups like beef/chicken-stuffed fried avocados, and the El Vaquero: an 8oz sirloin, plus two onion/cheese enchiladas topped with eggs done sunny-side-up -- for the morbidly obese, probably the last sun-up they'll ever see.
