Once again quenching thirst the old-fashioned way, Well & Bucket (thankfully not that old-fashioned way) is an ancient Bethnal Green boozer that shut down in '89, and is now back in action, totally refurbed w/ copper bar-tops, cast-iron seats, and wooden tables recalling the industrial age that birthed it.

The place still has plenty of original touches, and yes, they still serve oysters (au naturel, wrapped in smoked bacon, Orleans BBQ-style…), and they've even added sliders like ginger beer chicken, lamb shank, and pork belly.

They've got a dozen different porters to accompany your bivalves, as well as rare taps like this Dominion Double D IPA, Camden Ink Stout, and Dellerium's Guillotine, which is anything but revolting.

Head downstairs, and you'll find their dark 5CC cocktail lounge, where they'll happily mix you their Right Hand (a Negroni w/ sweet rum), a signature marg made w/ smoked mezcal, and even a Colonial Old Fashioned, whose chai-infused whiskey will quench your thirst… for territory!
