Listen: We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any differently! But drinking beer is also pretty fun, and the minds at Wynkoop Brewery are rolling out a canned selection that pairs perfectly with your God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater first edition. Kurt's Mile High Malt is a Vienna-style lager brewed in tribute to the man who unstuck Billy Pilgrim in time, based off a recipe by author Kurt Vonnegut's very own brewer grandpa. It's only been made in small batches three times before -- once in 1996, again in 2007 for Vonnegut's funeral (so it goes), and last year for Wynkoop's silver anniversary. But now it's entering regular draft rotation and getting canned in four-packs beginning this Sunday, April 20. While there are no plans to expand Vonnegut brews, we'd love to see this inspire a whole line of Vonnegut beers like Po-Tee-Wheat Hefeweizen.

Self-described Bokononists can celebrate the beer's release in style at Wynkoop's "Breakfast of Champions" brunch that same Sunday. Each of the entree options takes a name from one of Vonnegut's books and is served with Kurt's Mile High Malt. Make sure to dust off your Criterion copy of Back to School for the occasion.
