A French- and Thai-trained chef does Italian in Austin Ranch?

Boasting a CIA-trained chef who's worked everywhere from (yawn) a three-Michelin-starred resto in the South of France to (sneeze!) a top Thai spot in SoHo, Veranda Italian's a patio-lined, bar-anchored, wood- and Venetian plaster-walled Austin Ranch spot with a menu that focuses on classic Italian eats: eggplant lasagna, bruschetta, thyme-crusted rack of lamb, and, of course, pasta numbers like fettuccine Alfredo, also, oddly, the name of Batman-o's butler.
