The Ras

Petworth's newest joint's a Rastafarian/Ethiopian themed combo cafe, complete with 'farian murals, Ethiopian paintings, and a full wall dedicated to Haile Selassie I. They're serving up island/African mashups like traditional Ethiopian Injera (minced beef Kitfo, heated and marinated in spicy chili blend mitmita); and a batter-pocket stuffed, deep-fried shark dish called "Bake and Shark", also a favorite Rasta pastime resulting in a surplus of giggling, one-handed fishermen.
