Helmed by a former Gramercy Tavern exec chef, this enormous, wood-beamed spot plates up French- and Italian-inspired fare (Stout-Braised Beef Short Ribs, Ricotta Ravioli w/ Lobster Mushrooms, etc), plus 20 wines by the glass and a six-pack of American microbrews. Dividing bar from dining room's a round, 3,000lb millstone table, which despite your chivalry, you will find difficult to scoot closer to your seated date.
