Burger King's chicken fries are back

For a certain section of the BK fan base, losing the Chicken Fries was like losing a dear, phallic friend with delicious breading. Followers feared they would never see the impossibly skinny chicken fingers again, but apparently Burger King was reading those petitions and Facebook lamentations all along. Starting today, the Chicken Fries are back nationwide.

During their 2005-2012 run, the Chicken Fries developed a pretty rabid cult following. In fact, when they first debuted, BK managed to sell 100 million Chicken Fries in just four weeks. Believers praised them for their superior dunkability and cupholder-compatible box -- but for whatever reason, Burger King discontinued them two years ago. Now, they're back, albeit for a limited-run only. Based on the hysteria going down on social media over these things, we wouldn't be surprised if BK reversed that limited-time deal; but until the official word comes down, gaze upon this majestic Chicken Fries propaganda with pride.
