America will now run on definitely-not-a-Cronut Croissant Donuts

Croissant hybrid-mania isn't quite over yet.

Dunkin' Donuts locations in South Korea have been selling Cronut-esque "Croissant Donuts" for a while now, and, along with KFC Korea's incredible Double Down burger, have been running the world's fast-food scene. Welp, languish in envy no more, America -- Dunkin' has finally announced that Croissant Donuts are coming to the States for a limited time starting November 3rd.

The flaky pastries, which were sold in South Korea under the name of "New York Pie Donuts" (or NYPDs, aka our finest), will cost $2.49 each, which is slightly more costly than a standard DD donut, but hey -- these ain't your typical baked goods.

The first wave of Croissant Donuts will be topped with Dunkin's standard Glazed donut glaze, but they've already experimented with other flavors like chocolate in South Korea, so we can probably expect at least that when they bring them stateside. Of course, you might have to get there early to find one before they run out.
