Jäger poutine is served in a bottle at this all-bacon restaurant

With apologies to the Bublé, everyone knows that poutine is the greatest thing to ever come out of Canada. And while it's tempting not to mess with perfection, one wild Montreal bar is shaking up the signature dish with the greatest thing to come out of Germany since schnitzel, Jägermeister.

Bar Brutus' entire business model rests on bacon -- every single thing on the menu somehow features pork candy. There're bacon salads, caramel bacon donuts, bacon sushi, bacon Hot Pockets, and of course, bacon Jäger poutine. The dish has all the trappings of the poutine you know, only it's also stashing heaps of bacon and red caramelized onions, all drenched in a special Jägermeister sauce. It comes in a halved fifth, too, like a message in a bottle where the message is "get your cholesterol checked".

The bacon explosion begins as soon as Bar Brutus gets its liquor license. Don't worry if all that bacon makes you a little sleepy, either. That's what the Red Bull chicken wings are for.
