Pot-Infused Pizza Is Here to Cure, Cause Munchies

As more and more states go green by legalizing pot, slow-moving chefs are coming forth with some pretty spectacular THC-infused goodies. We've already seen coffee and sushi with Mary Jane, and now we're getting the most obvious mash-up of them all: pot pizza.

Ironically, the innovation is coming out of a state where marijuana is still illegal. Pennsylvania-based Unique Pizza and Subs says it's currently working with experts in Colorado to develop a weed-infused sauce for a frozen pizza -- specifically at the behest of their largest shareholder, who is somehow a Canadian and not Snoop Lion. The goal is to develop a pie that could be marketed all over the Great White North, as well as US states where grass is lawful.

As for whether the pizza would actually show up in Unique Pizza and Subs locations, company president Jim Vowler seems doubtful. Casting aside all the legal implications, Vowler told the Denver Post he isn't sure the spiked sauce "fits their mold", and it's really a side project for their Canadian pal, who we're just going to go ahead and assume is Seth Rogen.
