The owners of Shabu Shabu-Ya have dropped that concept in favor of Noir, an exposed-brick bistro serving up 25+ whites, reds, and sakes, with a concentration on Italian vino; food's still Asian, with selections like braised short ribs, spicy chili shrimp, and chicken that's "Crunchy and a Little Nutty" (so Chicken a la Berkeley?).
